Favorite Bike Trail/Route in STL

I'm looking for a new favorite. From my home, its hard to beat riding down Wydown and doing loops on the road in Forest Park for a quick 20 mi. Riding out of Columbia, IL is really good for long, uninterrupted miles. In West County, Clayton Rd. to Valley to Shepard to Orville to Eatherton and up to Wildhorse creek, then on out west to St. Albans is a very pretty ride.

Who are you?

I am a mother of 3 college age kids, 2 cats, and soon a bulldog (if I'm lucky). I got my first good bike in college, which also happens to be where my I met my husband Mark. We both had Raleigh Internationals at that time. We purchased our first tandem about 10 years ago and are now on our 2nd - a Co-Motion Robusta. Its been the the best thing ever - we do most of our riding on the tandem and have done everything from time trials to road races to long distance (BAM 1999) together on it. Now I'm trying to learn how to ride again on the "single"!

I don't know why, but I can't seem to stay away from HG TV. Maybe its because I've moved 3 times in the last 4 years. "The Office"

Where do you want to go on your bike? Place, goal...

I'd like to be able to get out of the saddle and climb or sprint effectively (on the single) - I'm fine with this on the tandem!). I've done many centuries on the tandem, but haven't tried on the single. I'd like to check that out too.
